if ever you feel like you need a time out in a place that will bring instant relief, this is the place to go. even if i was there for a conference, i enjoyed the simple beauty of the surroundings, the calm atmosphere, the wonderfully decorated rooms and the lakeview right after having to get up way too early. didn't even have the time to check out the spa area, which is supposed to be lovely as well. can't wait to go back. fyi: my room was a 21qm standard. i loved it and the size was perfect for a business trip, but the best choice in terms of value-for-money would be a junior suite i guess. make sure to ask for lakeview when making a reservation! oh and hell yes, it's only one hour from berlin! seriously - this time, trust google maps!
